WHAT’S IN YOUR THERAPIST’S TOOLBOX

DIVERSE

If the only tool you have is a hammer then everything looks like a nail. Carpenters need a full toolbox to get the job done. So do speech therapists. A speech language pathologist who relies on just one tool will probably pound away at every speech problem the same way. Francine’s tool box is overflowing with a variety of resources she can use to design a program targeted to your child’s unique needs.

PERSONAL

Your child is special. Their treatment plan should be too. Francine develops personalized treatment plans based on the child’s specific communication profile and interests. Speech therapy is hard work for little ones. Each session is filled with a variety of high interest activities to help keep little ones focused and motivated.

DYNAMIC

A successful therapy program needs to change and adapt with the child. Francine uses a dynamic approach to therapy collecting data at each session to track progress so she can make changes to keep pace with the child’s growth.

EFFECTIVE

A therapy program is only as good as the clinician who delivers it. Expert clinical judgement isn’t sold in commercial therapy programs-it develops over time. Clinical experience matters. Francine is trained in leading evidence-based practices and uses these therapies and techniques to design an individualized program to address your child’s needs. Francine has literally given “voice” to hundreds of children. Ask how she can help give your child a voice.

PASSIONATE

Francine has devoted her life to giving others a voice. She is driven to provide outstanding services to children and compassionate support to their caregivers. Francine specializes in motor-based speech disorders (CAS), auditory and language processing disorders, expressive language delays, and cluttering. She has extensive experience with autism-related speech disorders and assessing children with comorbidities.

EXPERIENCED

Francine is the go to therapist when other SLPs are stumped. She is often called on by local school districts to help with their most challenging cases. Apraxia-kids.org recognizes her as a speech language pathologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating CAS.
